Vision
ARTLOVT is a place of retreat, a magazine- and online platform, as well as a location-independent event space.
The aim is to promote and exchange creativity, art and individual work. By providing creative workspace outside the city, we want to connect people and offer them a place to work.
Nevertheless, we work independently of location and we are closely connected to the city. We are always interested and reachable for cooperation’s in the art and creative sector.
Elsa Loy
is an actress, choreographer and founder of ARTLOVT. In Berlin she works mainly in the world of theatre, film and the creative scene, but keeps on pursuing her own projects and visions. She founded her own event series, an online magazine and now the space for artists Artlovt, which is located in Brandenburg (Oderberg).
While working on this project Elsa, who is also a communication business graduate, managed to establish a large network in the German creative and cultural scene. Therefore, she had the chance to work with a great variety of people and artists.
Her aim is to explore new spaces and places and to create a connection between Berlin and its neighbouring city Märkisch Oderland in Brandenburg. She wants to connect artists from different places and offer them a creative space outside the city to find oneself.
Artists' residence
The house offers several guest rooms: a seminar / event room and a restored dance hall, which can be used from summer 2021. The house is ideal for small groups or individuals. ARTLOVT can be reached from Berlin by public transport in 90 minutes. In addition to renting out the building, the focus is on the promotion and realisation of art, film, music and theatre projects.
